Information Captured and Stored Automatically

During your visit to the JIPLERZ site, even if you do nothing but browse through the website, certain information about your visit will be automatically stored. The information automatically collected and stored does not identify you personally. The Jobs Project will automatically collect and store only the following information about your visit:

  1. The Internet domain (for example, xyz.gov if you connect from a government domain, xyzcollege.edu if you connect from a university's domain, or “xyzcompany.com if you use a private Internet access account) and IP address (an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Web) from which you access the website;
  2. The type of browser and operating system used to access the JIPLERZ site;
  3. The date and time you access the JIPLERZ site;
  4. The pages you visit; and
  5. If you linked to the JIPLERZ website from another website, the address of that website.

The purpose of collecting this information is to help improve the JIPLERZ site and make it more user-friendly, to learn about the number of visitors to the JIPLERZ site and the types of technology visitors use. There is no tracking or record of information about particular individuals and their visits to JIPLERZ. The JIPLERZ site does not enable "cookies." If You Provide Personal Information to the Jobs Project

If you fill out one of the online forms on the JIPLERZ website with your personal information or send the Jobs Project an email containing personal information, the Jobs Project will use that information to respond to your message or to enable the Project to get you the information or search criteria that you have requested. The Jobs Project does not collect personal information for any purpose other than to respond to your job search query. If the Jobs Project does collect personally identifiable information (name, email address, telephone number, or other unique identifier), it is only if you specifically and knowingly provide such information. The Jobs Project shares the information you provide with a third party only if your inquiry relates to that third party. Moreover, the Jobs Project does not create individual profiles with the information you provide or give it to any private organizations. Furthermore, the Jobs Project does not collect information for commercial marketing.

Importantly, the Jobs Project might use the data you and other users provide voluntarily to form aggregated analyses for the tracking and monitoring & evaluation purposes of the Jobs Project. No standalone personal information from any particular individual will be used for the purposes of these analyses – instead, your information will be aggregated with data from the entire site to track broad trends and perform analysis functions for the Jobs Project.

The JIPLERZ website has links to other related organizations. The JIPLERZ website only provides links to other organizations’ websites when they are relevant to the Jobs Project. This does not constitute an endorsement of their policies or products. Once you link to another site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.

The Jobs Project ensures that the JIPLERZ website remains available to all users by using a computer system that employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.
